Stainless Steel Sampling cans are used for the drawing of core or composite samples of bulk liquids. The design allows liquid to pass through the sampler until brought to a stationary position.
It is suitable for the sampling of Oils, Fats, Edible Food Products, Wines, Water, Petroleum Products and Chemicals.
In operation, the sampler remains empty as it is lowered into the liquid, until the leg contacts a solid surface (usually the bottom of the tank). The valve at the bottom of the sampler then opens, and the sampler fills. As the sampler is lifted, the valve re-seals, ensuring that the sample is retained and not diluted on its way up through the liquid. The sampler therefore obtains true bottom samples.
